Maintaining Water Quality
Every ice bath is unique! Factors like bather load, frequency of use, and the environment can all affect water quality.
To ensure the safest and most enjoyable experience:
- Regularly assess your water: Pay attention to its clarity and overall appearance. If it appears cloudy, discolored, or has an unusual odor, it's time for a refresh, even if you haven't reached the 3-4 week mark.
- Consider usage: If your ice bath gets a lot of use or is exposed to high levels of debris (e.g., leaves, dirt) or potential sources of bacteria, you may need to replace the water more frequently.
- Water Chemistry: The effectiveness of Water Cleaner can be influenced by the specific chemistry of your water source. If you notice that the product doesn't seem to be maintaining water quality as expected, you may need to adjust your cleaning routine or consult with a water treatment specialist.
Water Replacement:
- For optimal hygiene, replace the water in your ice bath every 3-4 weeks, even with regular use of Water Cleaner.
Additional Notes:
- Mixing: After adding the cleaner, mix the water thoroughly to ensure even distribution.
- Wait Time: It is not necessary to wait a specific amount of time before using the ice bath after adding Cleaner, just make sure that the product has been thoroughly mixed into the water!
- Adjustments: You may need to adjust the amount of Cleaner used based on the frequency of use, bather load, and water quality.
